Senior Claims Coordinator

Job Summary

The Sr. Claims Coordinator is responsible to process claims for all patients. In addition to some supervisory tasks as per assignment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures through his/her actions, that a superior quality of Claims are submitted and within the acceptable time period.
• Conveys training sessions for new Claims Coordinators.
• Reviews ER/OPD discrepancies and communicating with respected departments.
• Checks the claim form received if the ID copy attached is correct.
• Reports the unadjusted and un-entered medical services to Manager of claims notification of excluded services for the newly contracted companies.
• Suggests new computer functions to improve the section performance.
• Receives answered approvals from PSD, the Admission office and the Billing department.
• Performs additional tasks and duties as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

Education

• Preferably College Graduate/Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Management.

Experience

A minimum of:

• Three (3) year experience in Claims processing field.

Competencies & skills

• English and Arabic speaking and typing.
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Familiar with Medical Terminology
• Expert in Payers regulations
