Spare Parts Sales / Counter in Charge (Heavy)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Heavy Truck Spare Parts Counter Salesperson to manage counter sales operations. The role involves assisting customers, identifying correct spare parts, processing sales transactions, and maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-paced spare parts environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales

• Assist walk-in customers and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp
• Identify and supply correct heavy truck spare parts using part numbers, chassis numbers, catalogs, or customer descriptions
• Provide accurate pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
• Offer technical guidance and suitable product alternatives when required
• Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and receipts
• Handle cash, card, and credit sales in line with company policies
• Upsell related parts and promote suitable alternatives or add-ons

Inventory & Parts Management

• Search and verify parts using electronic catalogs, ERP systems, and manuals
• Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for stock availability and dispatch
• Follow up on back-orders and special requests
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer details
• Assist with stock arrangement, labeling, and periodic inventory counts

Sales Performance

• Achieve assigned daily and monthly sales targets
• Maintain long-term relationships with fleet operators, workshops, and regular customers
• Stay informed about new products, pricing updates, and market trends

General Duties

• Ensure a professional and organized counter environment
• Support promotions and sales campaigns
• Follow company procedures related to safety, quality, and customer service
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Parts Manager or Supervisor

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or automotive qualification preferred)
• Minimum 3 years experience in heavy truck or automotive spare parts counter sales
• Strong knowledge of truck spare parts (engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, filters, etc.)
• Ability to interpret OEM and aftermarket part numbers and catalogs
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer skills; ERP or inventory system experience is an advantage
• English ,Hindi required; Arabic or other languages are a plus
• UAE driving license preferred
