Role Description The Specialist Obstetrician and Gynecologist will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services, as well as gynecologic assessment and management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical consultations, performing obstetric and gynecologic procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized care plans. The specialist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, adhere to local regulatory requirements, maintain accurate medical records, and participate in clinical quality and safety initiatives. Additional duties may include patient education, counseling on reproductive health, and support of facility-based protocols and guidelines. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Ajman.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and clinical decision-making, with the ability to provide evidence-based care.
• Expertise in Obstetrics, including antenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postnatal follow-up.
• Comprehensive skills in Gynecology, covering diagnosis and management of gynecologic conditions and reproductive health.
• Proficiency in Gynecologic Surgery and related Surgery procedures appropriate to a specialist obstetrician-gynecologist role.
• Recognized medical degree and specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology; eligibility for relevant local licensing (e.g., DHA/MOH/HAAD) as applicable.
• Previous experience in hospital or clinic settings, with a track record of safe practice and adherence to clinical governance standards.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Willingness to participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement activities.
