Role Description The Specialist Pediatrician will provide comprehensive pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents in an on-site clinical setting located in Ajman. This full-time role includes conducting patient consultations, performing physical examinations, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic pediatric conditions, and providing preventive care and vaccinations. The Specialist Pediatrician will collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals, participate in care planning, and ensure adherence to relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate medical records, counseling families on treatment plans and child health, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the facility.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care relevant to pediatric populations.
- Candidates should possess advanced skills and experience in Pediatrics, including management of common and complex childhood conditions.
- Candidates should possess specialized knowledge in Neonatology for the care of newborns, including high-risk and premature infants.
- Candidates should possess demonstrated ability in Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
- Recognized medical degree and completion of pediatric residency; board certification or equivalent in Pediatrics is preferred.
- Valid or eligibility for relevant UAE medical license (e.g., DHA/MOH/HAAD/DHCC) and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with children and families, and proficiency in maintaining clear clinical documentation.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and quality and safety standards in healthcare.
