Role Description

This is a full-time (Hybrid) Specialist Psychiatry role based in the United Arab Emirates. The Specialist Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive mental health care, including diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, managing therapy sessions, prescribing medications as needed, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care. The role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of psychiatric practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of mental health services.

Qualifications

• Valid DHA / DOH / MOH

  license or eligibility

• Fluent in English & Arabic (other languages is a plus)

• Expertise in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment

• Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based modalities

• Ability to prescribe and manage psychotropic medications appropriately

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams

• Commitment to patient privacy and adherence to medical ethical standards

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an advantage

• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
