Staff Nurse (NICU)

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate NICU Nurse to provide specialized care for premature and critically ill newborns in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of care for infants and support for their families during critical moments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to premature, low birth weight, and critically ill newborns in the NICU.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, feeding, and overall condition of neonates.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
• Operate and monitor NICU equipment such as ventilators, incubators, CPAP machines, and infusion pumps.
• Assist physicians during medical procedures and emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Educate and support parents on newborn care, feeding, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety standards are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with doctors, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing).
• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi License or eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years of NICU experience in a hospital setting.
• Certification in BLS and NRP/PALS preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Compassionate and family-centered approach to care

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
