  1. Supervises on daily bases activities and duties within the assigned areas and coordinates and reports to the concerned management.

  2. Addresses problems with work quality, issues between employees and other concerns in an effective, timely manner.

  3. Accountable for the development/ maintenance and upkeep of all unit manuals, policies and records.

  4. Develops and supervises change initiatives in policies, processes and procedures to implement standards of institutional excellence based on performance evaluation.

  5. Strives to incorporate a culture of change acceptance by assessing and addressing the current state and factors impacting change resistance among employees.

  6. Supervises the development of mechanisms that shall address and improve acceptance to forthcoming change initiatives within the organization

  7. Establishes appropriate change management interventions to guide and monitor the change process, and ensures compliance with change management principles for initiatives.

  8. Monitors the impact of interventions and strategies in light of the identified objectives, analyse deviations and take corrective actions.

  9. Serves as link between subordinates and upper management.

  10. Conducts performance reviews, motivates team members and creates strategies to boost productivity.

  11. Provides daily supervision and oversight of unit staff and activities, ensuring the delivery of effective and quality services.

  12. Evaluates and supervises the performance and professional development of subordinates according to the performance appraisal policy and initiate corrective action plans as necessary.

  13. Supports the management in the effective coordination, implementation, monitoring and review of processes, protocols and standards related to departmental functions.

  14. Oversees teams with the tools and expertise necessary for successful operation.

  15. Develops strong and effective relationships with staff. Investigates and responds expeditiously to written and verbal inquiries and issues as they arise.

  16. Participates in KSUMC planning and development programs as required.

  17. Evaluates staff performance and submit analysis reports about work-load and accomplishments.

  18. Organizes and provides education and training activities for unit staff as required.

  19. Establishes related Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for evaluation and development of the unit.

  20. Performs administrative activities such as supervision of weekly reports, handling inquiries, preparation of monthly work schedule for staff, tracking work order requests, etc.

  21. Actively addresses employee and work-related issues and problems, guides section supervisors’ performance and concerns.

  22. Writes an official delegation of all responsibilities and assignments prior to leave / vacation.

  23. Performs other job related duties as assigned as per to the policy within the entity assigned.

Qualifications:

Essential: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Management Information System, Statistics, Health Science, Health and Hospital Management or equivalent related field.

Preferred: Master Degree in Business Administration, Management Information System, Statistics, Health Science, Health and Hospital Management or equivalent related field.

Experience:

Bachelor: Six (6) years work experience in similar field including Three (3) years work experience at senior role.

Master: Four (4) years work experience in similar field including Two (2) years work experience at senior role.
