Technologist - Cardiovascular (Non-Invasive)

Under general supervision, the Technologist – Cardiovascular (Non-Invasive) performs non-invasive echocardiograms (echo) utilizing department protocols/guidelines on fetal (preferred), pediatric, adolescent and adults with known or suspected congenital heart disease of a complex nature. S/he completes preliminary report for Cardiologist using Echo PACs software in a timely manner. S/he is a flexible team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. The incumbent participates in the prioritization of patients in the Cardiology Clinic, inpatients and ED and assists Cardiologists with TEE in the Cath Lab and OR. S/he participates equally in on-call rotation and overtime as dictated by patient demand. S/he participates in Echo QI and Cardiac Program activities.
