Therapy Assistant Competitive Hourly Rate + Salary Packaging + Super Permanent Part Time, Monday to Friday role! Merriwa, WA We have wonderful opportunity at our Karri & Tuart Lodge facility in Merriwa for for an out-of-the-box and forward-thinking Therapy Assistant ! Vital to the continuous improvement of our services, you will assess resident's needs and preferences to develop appropriate one-on-one or group programs, assist in the development and delivery of group and individual therapies and note changes in resident's well-being and advise staff of these.

The Role And You
- Assist in the implementation of therapy programs including group and individual activities.
- Assist in assesing resident's needs and preferences and help develop appropriate programs in relation to the individual.
- Supervise volunteers who are assisting with the program.
- Complete documentation and reporting in relation to the role.
- Communicate with Allied Health and Clinical teams on the outcome of programs for the residents.
About You
- Previous, demonstrated experience working in Residential Aged Care.
- Ability to work autonomously and with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proactive with a positive 'get up and go!' attitude.
- Flexible with start and finish times.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy and understand their needs.
- Demonstrate flexible decision making and advanced problem solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
- Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff.
