We are looking for a commercially strong Trade Marketing Lead to drive go-to-market execution, brand visibility, and shopper activation across Modern Trade, Lower Trade, eCommerce, and qCommerce channels within our Health Foods portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone who understands FMCG trade dynamics in the UAE, can translate brand plans into in-store and omnichannel execution, and knows how to turn promotional investment into measurable commercial impact.

Role Impact

You will play a key role in strengthening brand presence, improving retail and online visibility, supporting new product launches, and driving sustainable growth across key trade and digital commerce channels. You will work closely with Sales, Digital Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, and principal partners to deliver campaigns that are practical, measurable, and commercially effective.

What You Will Own

  • Develop and execute annual trade marketing and GTM plans across Modern Trade and Lower Trade, eCommerce, and qCommerce channels.
  • Build customer-specific activation plans, promotional calendars, and retail execution strategies with the Sales team.
  • Plan and deliver brand activations, promotions, visibility initiatives, consumer campaigns, and brand awareness.
  • Partner with Digital Commerce teams to plan and execute eCommerce and qCommerce campaigns, ensuring strong alignment between online and offline activations.
  • Drive in-store and online visibility, conversion, and campaign ROI through well-planned activations and performance follow-up.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets, forecast promotional spend, and evaluate ROI across campaigns.
  • Engage with global principals on annual marketing plans, activation calendars, performance reviews, and category best practices.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, shopper behaviour, and retail performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support new product launches through GTM planning, in-store activation, training, and execution follow-up.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and post-campaign evaluations with clear recommendations to improve execution and business performance.

You are not only creative with activations, you are also disciplined with budgets, reporting, and performance tracking.

Must-Have Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in FMCG marketing, trade marketing, or shopper marketing.
  • Proven UAE experience across Modern Trade and Lower Trade channels.
  • Strong experience in GTM execution, retail activation, promotions, and visibility planning.
  • Exposure to eCommerce, qCommerce, or digital commerce campaign activation within FMCG or consumer goods.
  • Ability to manage trade marketing budgets and measure campaign ROI.
  • Experience working with principal brands, retailers, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into clear commercial actions.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in health foods, nutrition, wellness, or consumer health categories.
  • Experience working with eCommerce or qCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Noon, Talabat, Careem, Deliveroo, Instashop, or similar channels.
  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Certification or background in Nutrition or Dietetics.
  • Experience with retail analytics tools or shopper insight platforms, or digital commerce performance dashboards.

This Role May Not Be the Right Fit If

  • Your experience is mainly brand marketing with limited trade execution exposure.
  • You have not worked directly with UAE Modern Trade or Lower Trade channels.
  • You prefer strategy only and are not comfortable following execution details closely.
  • You are not comfortable managing budgets, ROI, and performance reporting.
  • You have limited experience working with sales teams, retailers, and principal partners.
