CCU Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Care Nurse with Critical Care/CCU experience to provide specialized care for high-acuity patients in a home care setting. The nurse will be responsible for continuous monitoring, advanced clinical assessment, and management of patients with complex cardiac and critical conditions, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring high-level monitoring, particularly those with cardiac and critical care needs.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, including cardiac monitoring, respiratory assessment, and early identification of clinical deterioration.
• Manage advanced nursing duties such as:
• Oxygen therapy
• BiPAP/CPAP support
• Tracheostomy care (if applicable)
• PEG/NG tube feeding
• IV medications (as per DOH scope)
• Monitoring vital signs and hemodynamic stability
• Implement and follow individualized care plans in coordination with treating physicians.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status, interventions, and progress.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, equipment use, and emergency responses.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physiotherapists, respiratory therapists, and case managers.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control, patient safety, and DOH homecare regulations.
• Respond promptly to urgent or emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
• Provide emotional support and build therapeutic, trust-based relationships with patients and families.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid DOH/HAAD Registered Nurse License (or eligibility letter).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of CCU/ICU experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong clinical competency in managing critically ill or high-acuity patients.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, oxygen devices, and emergency response.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home care environment.
• Compassionate, patient-centered, and able to handle stressful situations with professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED9,000.00 per month
