Home Nurse

Position: Home Care Nurse
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Role Purpose

The Home Care Nurse is responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes. The role includes monitoring patients' health, administering medications and treatments, assisting with daily living activities, educating patients and caregivers, and supporting recovery and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in their homes as per the prescribed care plan.
• Assess and monitor patients' health condition and report any significant changes.
• Administer medications, injections, wound care, and other prescribed treatments.
• Monitor and record vital signs and maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including mobility, hygiene, feeding, and personal care when required.
• Support post-operative, elderly, chronic disease, rehabilitation, and palliative care patients.
• Educate patients and family members on medication management, nutrition, and home care practices.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards during home visits.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate emergencies appropriately.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or home healthcare setting.
• Experience in elderly care, medical-surgical nursing, ICU, emergency, or home healthcare is an advantage.
• BLS certification is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work independently.

Pay: AED2,228.14 - AED2,800.00 per month
