Job Summary

The Specialist Gynecologist is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care related to women’s reproductive health. The role includes diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions, managing pregnancy and childbirth, providing preventive care, and ensuring high standards of patient safety and clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for gynecological conditions and diseases.
• Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast examinations.
• Monitor and manage pregnancy, prenatal care, and postnatal care.
• Diagnose and treat reproductive health disorders such as menstrual problems, infections, infertility, and hormonal disorders.
• Perform minor and major gynecological procedures when required.
• Provide family planning services and contraceptive counseling.
• Manage menopause-related health issues.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasound, laboratory tests, and imaging.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Follow clinical protocols, infection control standards, and medical ethics.
• Educate patients about reproductive health, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Participate in continuous medical education and professional development.
