Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of major construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, budgeting, claims management, commercial reporting, and ensuring the financial success of projects while minimizing commercial risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial and contractual activities across major construction projects.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting.
• Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions and project requirements.
• Prepare and manage claims, variations, Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, and final account negotiations.
• Monitor project cash flow, profitability, and commercial risk exposure.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and payment processes.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and UAE construction regulations.
• Provide commercial guidance and strategic support to project teams and senior management.
• Participate in contract negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Support dispute resolution and claim management while protecting the company's commercial interests.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports, cost analyses, and financial forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in commercial management, contracts, or quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Proven experience handling large-scale building and infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Contracts, contract administration, and commercial management practices.
• Extensive experience in:
• Cost control and budgeting
• Forecasting and commercial reporting
• Claims and variations
• Extension of Time (EOT)
• Final account settlements
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and subcontract management.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial/project management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as MRICS, RICS, CIArb, or equivalent are an added advantage.
• Master's Degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Previous experience working with major contractors on high-value construction projects in the UAE/GCC is highly preferred.

Salary: Up to AED 30,000 per month (Based on Experience).

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
