Dekstop Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support for desktop systems, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, standard business applications, and enterprise software
• Manage and support user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, and network connectivity
• Support Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of Networking to Diagnose and resolve network-related issues (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP configuration,VPN)
• Perform system imaging, deployment, and patch management.
• Handle ticketing system requests and ensure timely resolution as per SLA
• Maintain and update IT asset inventory and documentation
• Provide remote support to users across multiple locations
• Assist in printer setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, including antivirus and endpoint protection
• Support basic server and infrastructure tasks when required
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty support
• Conduct user training and awareness on IT best practices
• Knowledge of healthcare IT standards (MCC, ADHICS).

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in desktop/end-user support (preferred)

Certifications ( Optional )

• (CCNA) or equivalent networking certification
• Microsoft Certification
