EMS Team Leader - Advanced Paramedic with DCAS License

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated EMS Team Leader - Advanced Paramedic to lead and support our emergency medical services operations. This role combines clinical excellence with leadership responsibility, ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support (ALS) care in emergency and non-emergency situations

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate EMS personnel

• Ensure compliance with DCAS regulations and international best practices

• Oversee daily EMS operations, staffing, and scheduling

• Maintain equipment readiness and fleet compliance

• Develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives

• Conduct training sessions and performance assessments

• Prepare operational and incident reports

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Paramedicine, Emergency Medical Services, or related field

• Valid DCAS Advanced Paramedic License or eligibility for obtaining license

• Minimum 3 years of EMS experience, with at least 1 years in a senior or supervisory role

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or ITLS certification

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous EMS management experience

• Knowledge of EMS regulations, policies, and compliance standards

• Ability to manage high-stress and emergency situations

• Strategic planning and problem-solving skill
