About the Role

The Internal Audito r Trainee will support the Internal Audit team in planning and executing audit operations, evaluating compliance with institutional policies and procedures, and preparing audit reports and documentation. This program offers hands-on experience and practical exposure to internal audit practices within a professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and monitoring the execution of internal audit operations in accordance with applicable policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Evaluate compliance with institutional policies and procedures, and assess various processes related to risk management and other internal audit activities.
• Provide data and manage logistics for external auditors, respond to their inquiries, and present supporting evidence to verify accounts as needed.
• Analyze organizational information, data, and outputs to ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures, and report any identified gaps or irregularities to management.
• Prepare specialized audit reports and documents summarizing internal audit findings, present recommendations for corrective actions and improvements, and archive reports in the relevant database in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

Qualificatio ns

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience (fresh graduates and recent graduates are welcome).
• Good English communication skills.
• Basic MS Office skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail abilities.
• Enrolled in or eligible for the Tamheer Program through HRDF.
