Occupational Therapy Team Lead

Capital Health is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapy - Team Lead to oversee an independent caseload and lead the occupational therapy team. You will ensure efficient day-to-day operations, manage clinical workloads, and provide specialist care for complex patient conditions. As a team leader, you will supervise and mentor staff while delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy aligned with best practices.

👩 ⚕️ Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the occupational therapy team, including scheduling, staff supervision, and workload prioritization.
• Deliver specialist clinical assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for complex cases.
• Ensure high standards of patient care, documentation, and compliance with Department of Health regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Act as a clinical role model and resource for junior therapists, promoting continuous professional development.
• Manage operational tasks such as inventory control, reporting, and handling patient-related issues.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement, and research initiatives.

✅ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science in Occupational Therapy
• Valid DOH License.
• Current license in country of origin or point of hire without restrictions
• Minimum 10 years full-time relevant clinical experience
• Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory role
• Master’s degree in science or Master of Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution (Preferred)
• Excellent Arabic and English communication skills (Preferred)
• Experience in a large acute care healthcare setting as Senior Therapist or equivalent (Preferred)
