This position works out of our Riyadh. Field site. location in the Core Diagnostic division.

What You’ll Work On

  • The Application Specialist is responsible for delivery of customer operator training and coaching in Abbott training facilities and onsite and providing on-site assay implementation, application support, and application troubleshooting on Abbott Systems.
  • Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Deliver customer operator training in Abbott facilities or on-site.
  • Perform new instrument and assay implementations through Test of Record (TOR).
  • Perform on-site assay investigation, troubleshooting and operator training and coaching.
  • Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), service key performance indicators achievement and resolution rates.
  • Travel extensively within the service area.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in medical / Electrical / Mechanical or medical technology is preferred.

  • Arabic

Minimum Experience Required

2-3 of relevant experience.

Minimum Skills Required

  • Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Successful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff.
  • Strong communication, coaching and training skills.
  • Technical experience for product line responsibility.
  • Strong experience in use of analytical and software tools.
