Business Development Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our services, specializing in genetic testing for horses, camels, and plants.

This role focuses on expanding partnerships, driving revenue, and positioning our solutions within the equine, veterinary, and agricultural sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in: Equine sector (horse breeding, racing, and stables), Camel farms and breeding programs, and Agricultural and plant sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with: Horse owners, breeders, and racing entities, Veterinary clinics, animal health professionals, Farms, agricultural companies, and research centers.
• Promote and sell genetic testing services related to: Performance traits, Disease risk, Lineage and breeding optimization, Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and field visits.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
• Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities within animal genetics and agri-biotech.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Agriculture, Biology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business development or sales.
• Proven experience in equine, camel, veterinary, or agricultural sectors.
• Strong network within: Horse owners/breeders/stables, Veterinary field, Farms or agricultural businesses.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup (field visits + remote work).
• Practical experience and industry network in equine, camel, or agricultural sectors.
