MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To lead and strategically direct the Legal and Company Secretarial function for Mediclinic Middle East, acting as a trusted executive advisor and commercial partner to the CEO, EXCO and Board. The role shapes enterprise strategy by integrating legal, regulatory, governance and commercial insight into business decision making, safeguarding enterprise value, accelerating sustainable growth, optimising risk adjusted returns and strengthening competitive positioning within a complex, highly regulated healthcare market

Medico-Legal & Regulatory Risk Management

Litigation, Regulatory & Crisis Management

Legal Function Leadership & Operational Excellence

REQUIRED EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION

Essential: Qualified and admitted as an attorney or lawyer in good standing in a recognized jurisdiction

Desired: Postgraduate qualification in Law, or Business Administration (LL.M / MBA) or any relevant field

Essential: Active professional admission and membership in good standing in relevant legal jurisdiction

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

12–15 years post-qualification legal experience.

Minimum 7 years in a senior leadership or executive legal role.

Proven experience in healthcare regulatory environments and medico-legal risk management within a multinational or complex corporate structure.

Demonstrated experience overseeing high-value litigation, regulatory investigations, and commercial transactions.

Experience advising executive leadership and Boards on governance and enterprise risk matters.
