Me'kaaz is establishing Saudi Arabia's first smart health bracelet manufacturing facility, specializing in screenless wearable health monitoring devices. We're seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our phased industrial development from assembly to full-scale manufacturing.

Position Overview

We need a strategic Plant Manager to establish and scale our manufacturing operations through three critical phases: initial assembly, partial manufacturing, and full production. This role requires deep expertise in IoT device manufacturing, electronics assembly, and Saudi industrial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive feasibility studies for all three operational phases (assembly, partial manufacturing, full production)
• Prepare detailed regulatory requirements documentation for SFDA, CITC, SASO, and other authorities
• Design facility layout and infrastructure requirements for each operational phase
• Determine machinery, equipment, and technology requirements for scalable production
• Build and manage technical teams across all manufacturing phases
• Establish quality management systems compliant with ISO 13485 and medical device standards
• Manage supplier relationships and supply chain optimization
• Oversee technology transfer and localization initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Saudi industrial regulations and Vision 2030 objectives
• Implement lean manufacturing and Industry 4.0 principles

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8 years experience in electronics manufacturing management
• Proven experience in medical device or consumer electronics production
• Strong knowledge of SMT, PCB assembly, and injection molding processes
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing automation
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• Saudi National (mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or MBA
• Experience establishing greenfield manufacturing facilities
• Knowledge of wearable technology and IoT device production
• Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar
• Experience with SFDA and international medical device regulations
• Previous work with Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) projects
