Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Cloud Architect is responsible for designing and governing the organization’s cloud architecture to ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency. The role focuses on defining architecture blueprints, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring that cloud environments align with enterprise standards and best practices.

The Cloud Architect will work closely with engineering teams, application teams, and security teams to design modern, cloud-native solutions and ensure the successful delivery of cloud initiatives.

The role requires strong knowledge in cloud platforms, automation, DevOps practices, and cloud-native technologies, with a focus on converting IaaS to SaaS cloud services across the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

1-Design cloud architecture blueprints:

Design cloud architecture blueprints and reference architecture for enterprise applications.

2-Lead the design of secure:

Lead the design of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments across GCP, AWS, Azure or OCI.

3-Define and enforce cloud architecture:

Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, patterns, and governance policies.

4-Implementing Infrastructure as Code:

Support engineering teams in implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks.

5-Design network architecture includes VPCs:

Design network architecture includes VPCs, connectivity, security segmentation, and hybrid connectivity.

6-Provide architectural guidance on container platforms

Provide architectural guidance on container platforms, Kubernetes clusters, and microservices architectures.

Skills

  • Strong expertise in GCP, OCI, AWS, or Azure architecture.
  • Knowledge of network architecture, routing, and security models in cloud environments.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.
  • Experience designing Kubernetes-based architecture.
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
