Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database & WebLogic Administrator to manage, maintain, and support enterprise database environments and applications running on Oracle WebLogic Server. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle 18c, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Linux systems, and core database administration tasks. This role involves installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability and performance of mission‑critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Database Administration

  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle Database 18c
  • Configure and support Oracle Data Guard for database replication and disaster recovery.
  • Manage and maintain Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) for high availability.
  • Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager and Grid Control for monitoring and performance tuning.
  • Perform database operations including DDL, DML, PL/SQL development, stored procedures, triggers, views, constraints, and cursors.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ORA and RMAN errors, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage database users, privileges, access control, and security compliance.
  • Support backup and recovery operations using RMAN and related tools.

WebLogic Application Administration

  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments.
  • Monitor WebLogic servers and applications for performance, reliability, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to deployments, server performance, and application connectivity.
  • Ensure smooth integration between WebLogic applications and backend Oracle databases.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience with Oracle Database 12c and above.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard and Oracle RAC.
  • 3 years working with Oracle Enterprise Manager and Grid Control.
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience in:
    • DDL, DML
    • PL/SQL
    • Stored procedures
    • Triggers
    • Views
    • Constraints
    • Cursors
  • knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of ORA and RMAN errors and troubleshooting methods.
  • Experience with database user management and security administration.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with Shell scripting for automation.
  • Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and supporting applications on Oracle WebLogic Server.
