Role Overview
The Business Development Assistant will provide dedicated support to the executive leading our business development efforts. This multifaceted role includes project management, strategic research, stakeholder engagement, and administrative support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and brings outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Business Development executive with project management tasks including planning, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities, partners, and industry trends.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, proposals, reports, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Assist in managing relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders across the hospitality and adjacent industries.
- Perform administrative and personal assistant duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and execution of business development initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Background in hospitality, business development, or project management is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a client-facing/project coordination role.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive, adaptable, and resourceful approach to challenges and change.
