Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Chocolate Packing Staff member to join our production team. The individual will be responsible for the proper packaging of chocolate products in compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards. The role involves working in a production/packing facility, following set procedures, and ensuring finished goods are ready for shipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect chocolates for defects and ensure only products meeting quality standards are packaged.
• Pack chocolates into wrappers, boxes, trays, or other packaging formats according to product specifications.
• Seal, label, weigh and date packages correctly.
• Keep production area clean and sanitized; follow hygiene and safety guidelines (e.g. wear gloves, hair nets, clean uniforms).
• Operate basic packing machinery or tools where required (e.g. wrapping machines, sealing machines).
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials (boxes, trays, wrappers, etc.) and report shortages.
• Maintain consistent productivity to meet daily/weekly targets.
• Assist with packing special orders or promotional packaging when needed.
• Ensure correct handling of packaged goods to avoid damage.
• Assist with loading packaged goods or transferring to storage/shipping areas.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Secondary school diploma (high school) or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in food packing or chocolate / confectionery is advantageous but not mandatory. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Skills:
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
• Good manual dexterity; able to handle small items and repetitive tasks.
• Physical stamina; able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weight (e.g. cases of packaged goods).
• Personal qualities:
• Punctual and reliable.
• Good team player.
• Able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Clean and hygienic habits.
• Language: Basic English or Arabic; understanding instructions.

Working Conditions & Schedule

• Work in a production facility / factory environment; possibly cold rooms or temperature-controlled packaging areas.
• Use of protective clothing and equipment (hairnets, gloves, aprons).
• Shift system may apply (morning / evening / night) depending on production demands.
• Overtime may be required occasionally.
