Driver

Purpose and Scope of the Job

The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transportation and delivery of materials, equipment, or items to end users in Hospital & Dash-Clinic premises. The role includes vehicle operation, item handling, basic documentation, and coordination with store/operations teams to ensure smooth deliveries.

Main Duties and Responsibilities/Performance Standards

• Driving & Delivery

• • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver items to end users, sites, or customers.
  • Ensure timely delivery as per delivery schedules and instructions.
  • Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.

• Item Handling & Distribution:

• • Load and unload materials, equipment, or other goods carefully
  • Verify items against delivery notes, invoices, or issue vouchers
  • Obtain delivery acknowledgements (signatures) from end users or Digital
  • Ensure items are delivered in good condition without damage

• Documentation & Reporting:

• • Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and fuel usage
  • Report delivery completion, delays, or issues to the supervisor
  • Assist in basic store or inventory documentation if required

• Vehicle Care & Maintenance:

• • Keep vehicle clean and in good working condition
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, lights, etc.)
  • Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately

• Coordination & Support:

• • Coordinate with storekeepers, site teams, or supervisors for delivery planning
  • Assist in material handling, relocation, or minor logistics tasks when required
  • Support emergencies or urgent deliveries assigned
  • Mostly duty in night hours

Qualifications, Competences and Skills

Education: Minimum Secondary School Education (Preferred)

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience as a driver or delivery personnel.
• Experience in material or item delivery to sites or end users is an advantage.

Licensure: Valid local driving license (light vehicle required; heavy vehicle is an advantage)

Language: Proficiency in Arabic and English Languages

Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills (is an advantage) - Preferred

• Full-time positions.

• May require weekends, or urgent deliveries.

• Work involves driving, lifting, and outdoor activities.
