Preservation Coordinator

PRESERVATION COORDINATOR Job Purpose: Manage equipment preservation for removed compressors, reusable components, and exposed process equipment including nitrogen blanketing, corrosion protection, and long-term storage protocols in live refinery brownfield environment, ensuring compliance with SABIC preservation standards and OEM requirements for Unit A and Unit B equipment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct preservation assessment of removed Unit A compressor and components per Section 2.7 of proposal Implement nitrogen blanketing and internal corrosion protection for stored equipment Apply protective coatings and wraps to machined surfaces and rotating components Install temporary nozzle blinds and sealing on open process lines and connections Establish preservation logs and monitoring records for all stored equipment Coordinate motor preservation with SASREF for removed electric motor Assess pulsation dampeners and reusable auxiliaries for preservation requirements Monitor preservation condition during storage and recommend corrective actions Prepare preservation condition reports for BH and SASREF review Implement long-term storage protocols for extended foundation repair periods Coordinate preservation activities for Unit B post-shutdown removal Ensure environmental protection of stored equipment from weather and contamination Interface with SASREF on preservation standards and periodic inspections Manage preservation materials and consumables inventory Train field personnel on proper preservation techniques Mandatory Requirements: 5+ years equipment preservation experience in KSA oil & gas Refinery rotating equipment preservation (SABIC/Aramco) Nitrogen blanketing and corrosion protection expertise Machined surfaces protection methods Understanding of reciprocating compressor components H2S and confined space certification Transferable Iqama Preferred: SASREF or SABIC refinery preservation experience BH OEM compressor preservation exposure NACE corrosion specialist certification Experience with vapor phase corrosion inhibitors (VPCI) Long-term equipment storage program management Salary Range: SAR 10,000 – 16,000/month Pay: ﷼10,000.00 - ﷼16,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
