Senior MEP Draftsman

Job Purpose: To prepare detailed and accurate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation in coordination with engineers, architects, and site teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. Key Responsibilities:     •     Prepare coordinated MEP shop drawings based on design drawings and project requirements.     •     Review and interpret project specifications, design drawings, and technical data.     •     Coordinate between architectural, structural, and MEP services to avoid clashes.     •     Develop detailed sections, schematics, and installation drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.     •     Update and maintain drawing records and revisions as per site conditions and consultant comments.     •     Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings for project handover.     •     Ensure that drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.     •     Liaise with engineers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure drawing accuracy and constructability.     •     Participate in design coordination and technical meetings as required. Qualifications & Experience:     •     Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.     •     Minimum 5–8 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, with at least 2–3 years in a senior role.     •     Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), and other drafting software.     •     Strong knowledge of MEP systems, design standards, and coordination procedures.     •     Good communication and organizational skills.
