Psychologist

Core Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments for children with developmental, behavioural, emotional, and learning concerns.
• Observe and evaluate children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning disabilities, speech delay, behavioural difficulties, and developmental delays.
• Prepare assessment reports, case history summaries, and intervention recommendations.
• Develop individualized therapy/intervention plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide behavioural management strategies and parent guidance sessions.
• Conduct one-on-one and group intervention sessions for children.
• Monitor child progress and maintain detailed session documentation.

Parent & Family Support

• Counsel and educate parents regarding the child’s condition, therapy goals, and home programs.
• Guide parents on behaviour modification techniques and developmental stimulation activities.
• Conduct regular parent review meetings and explain progress updates.

Multidisciplinary Coordination

• Coordinate with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Special Educators, ABA Therapists, and other professionals for integrated intervention planning.
• Participate in case discussions, review meetings, and treatment planning sessions.
• Support therapists with behavioural strategies for better session outcomes.

School & Community Coordination

• Liaise with schools regarding classroom behaviour, academic concerns, and support strategies when required.
• Assist in creating Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and school recommendations.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain confidential clinical records and assessment files.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and psychological evaluation reports.
• Ensure timely updating of therapy notes and case documentation.

Training & Professional Development

• Attend clinical trainings, workshops, and team development programs.
• Stay updated with current practices in child psychology, autism intervention, and behavioural therapy.
• Support awareness programs, screening camps, and parent education initiatives conducted by the centre.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
